Lost City of Petra. Day 2

Onlookers,

Date: 24.12.2018

It’s Christmas eve and we are on our way to Petra from Amman Guest House. We ubered our way to the JETT bus station in 7th circle which took about 5 minutes ride. (2JOD).

Our bus departed at 0700 as scheduled and reached Petra 1038 with 30 minute pitstop at Caravan Serai.

We checked in at Petra Palace Hotel, which is an old hotel with a bulky cable tv. There was no kettle to boil water but hot water can be easily available from the resto.

We had lunch of Moussaka (which is eggplant in minced beef tomato sauce served with coconut rice) and Fatoosh (salad and croutons in apple cidar dressing served with naan bread). (17JOD)

After lunch, since there was no Petra by night, we decided to roam around, initially just to Mousa’s Spring but Mr Salleh, the taxi driver gave the idea to go to Little Petra as well for a fee of 24JOD.

The taxi driver also showed us the aqueducts of the bedouin and stopped at various photospots.

Then we had dinner at High Castle resto. Mixed grill and Falafil (12JOD)

And we bought some groceries as well from nearby supermarket for 29JOD including an insight guide book 💕.

Thats the end of Day 2.
